do you handle security issues?
PBL is extremely sensitive to the security requirements of its clients.
Adequate systems and procedures ensure high level of security.
- Physical
security of the building, documents, microfilms and other media
are controlled.
Training on security and confidentiality are regularly conducted.

Prior to employment, employees sign a 'Confidentiality Agreement'
for the protection of the customer's data and documentation.
- Customer
data is backed up and maintained for 3 months at a separate PBL
facility.
- Geographically
distributed backups minimize disruptions that could come about
for reasons not controlled by PBL.
- Software
systems and processes are designed to ensure confidentiality of
information and processes in the workplace.
Why does your company have a physically diversified operation? Isn't
there a problem of control?
Diversification of PBL's portfolio of processing and programming
locations minimizes the risk of major output disruptions that could
come about for any number of reasons not controlled by PBL - acts
of God, unfavorable regional labor-market conditions, religious
holidays etc. Control is ensured through a tightly monitored intranet
network.
